About Us
John has always had an interest in shire horses. He ploughed and showed them whilst still looking after his prize winning 'Whitebarn Holstein' herd; gaining the 'Welsh Dairy Farmer of the year' award. The herd was sold in June 2003 to make way for the new "Gentle Giants" venture.
The business has grown over the years with the help of willing friends and family. Daughter Stacy, now 17, is the main helper at most events. Wife Marion is the technician behind the scenes dealing with the computer and the washing machine.
